Tazobactam active pharmaceutical ingredients is an antibiotic of the beta-lactamase inhibitor class that prevents the breakdown of other antibiotics by beta-lactamase enzyme producing organisms. It is combined with Piperacillin and Ceftolozane for the treatment of a variety of bacterial infections.
