Sodium hydrogen DL-malate (INS-350i)
Food additive in the category of acidity regulators and wetting agents. It is the sodium salt of malic acid. It comes in the form of E 350(i) – soidum malate or E 350(ii) – sodium hydrogen malate. It is used in the quantities according to the recipe in dairy products, cheese and cheese substitutes, fat spreads, sauces, instant soups and broths, spices, products from fruits, vegetables, fish, meat, eggs, cereals, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, sweets, ice cream etc.
