Food additive with acidity regulation role, obtained from salt and sulphuric acid. Hydrochloric acid is normally present in the stomach. It is used in dairy products, matured, unripened or processed cheese, whey products, ice cream, fat spreads, water – oil emulsions, sweet creams, products from vegetables, fruits, meat, fish, eggs, cereals, pastries, confectioneries, in pasta, breakfast cereals, beer, wine and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, nutritional supplements, dietetic products, sauces, spices, salads etc.
