Alpha Galactosidase
Alpha Galactosidase is a digestive enzyme that converts starch into simple sugars, allowing starch, carbohydrates, lipids, and proteins to be readily digested. As the amount of enzyme diminishes with age or for any reason, these various nutrients are destroyed by intestinal bacteria, resulting in increased generation of intestinal gas, which causes pain and bloating.
